The Pintura Project

If you’re in or near Orlando on October 8th you need to come out to this show! Still Proud will be set-up selling gear and it’s going to be an awesome time full of everything hip-hop: MCing, DJing, graf and breakdancing. From Pintura’s site:

Pintura Project™ unites an extensive network of talented and celebrated artists working around the world. We are committed to providing diverse, accessible and fulfilling graffiti experiences to enrich communities. Our events provide a positive atmosphere, in which individuals and families can enjoy live exhibitions alongside creative artists.

Pintura Project™ which means “Paint” in most Latin based languages was conceived by an artist named, Angel “Staz” Carreras as a way to share his passion for graffiti. Pintura Project has become an established and well orchestrated graffiti conference; producing original live exhibitions and community art events. Our artists are well known for their respective contributions to the history of the Graffiti movement.

Included in past years were artists that were involved in the revolutionary 1970’s NYC subway art movement to current pioneers working in Puerto Rico, Canada, China, France, Germany, Mexico, United Kingdom, and within all areas of the United States. Our mission is clear; unite for the purpose of enriching the world with our artwork.

See you there!
