“I’m going, going, back, back to Cali, Cali” -Biggie

I’ve been doing a lot of traveling lately and I’m all about it. There’s something to waking up in a change of scenery that’s always excited me. Perhaps it’s the anticipation of an adventure or the different mentality and culture of an area, I’m not sure, but I’ve always been down to experience new places and things.

I went to Hawaii in August, New Jersey 2 weeks ago and now I’m gearing up for Califuckingfornia this week. In particular, I’ll be in the northern part of the state in Rohnert Park. After all, Ceremony did name their latest album after it and I hear Life Long Tragedy hails from the area as well,  double win. I had a couple days of unused PTO time and had just met a cool gal on my Hawaii trip so I figured “why the hell wouldn’t I want to get away and visit the state I’ve always admired?” It was a no-brainer.

Planning to hit up San Francisco for a day and night and I’m super stoked on this as I haven’t been back to the city since I was a kid cruising up the bay on my step dads merchant marine ship. Definitely looking forward to being overwhelmed with the amazing city life, breadth of culture and big ass seals. Hook it up with some recommendations on breweries and places to eat? Other plans later in the trip are to hit up some wineries in the country, do some hiking and eat at the infamous In N Out burger!!!

Wish I had the time to head South and chill in LA and San Diego but since I’ll only be there from Wed-Sunday, it’s not in the cards. I’ve only been to Cali a couple times in my life but there’s something about that state whether it’s the amazing weather, varying land gradients or culture that really has me wanting to move in the very near future.

So don’t worry about packing because you’re cruising with me. Stay tuned for some updates and get pumped:
