The Strangest Secret by Earl Nightingale

I came across this video a couple days ago which I wanted to share with you folks. Reason being, I think it puts forth a very simple truth that the majority of us instinctively know, but do not consciously adopt in our daily lives. In this 30 minute presentation, Earl Nightingale, one of the most prolific minds (dubbed the  “Dean of Personal Development”) succinctly spells out the obvious truth to reclaiming our lives and answers the following important questions:

What is the secret to unlimited potential and success?

Why are the majority of us broke by 65?

Why do men with goals vs. those without succeed?

The answer is simply thought. Namely: WE BECOME WHAT WE THINK ABOUT. Yes, it’s that simple and to me makes perfectly logical sense. The thoughts and frame of mind that you carry through life whether knowingly or not will always shape the person you become, that is the basic premise of the presentation. A little understanding of how our subconscious mind operates will tell you that whatever your conscious mind accepts your subconscious will go to work to validate no matter if it’s right, wrong, possible or not.

Like I said before, I think deep down inside we know the power of our thoughts but as we go through the daily grind we allow our surroundings (which are largely negative) to pollute our thought and essentially determine our course.  So do yourself a favor and take the time to watch this because after all, this simple reminder could change your life!

To your success!
