Work’s For Jerk’s

Damn, that was a tough week. As some of you may know, my “day job” is working for a health insurance company in a call-center. Back to back calls, pissed off people, and the fact that i’m at odds with the majority of what the industry stands for, doesn’t necessarily make for the most positive mindset. With a college degree I never thought i’d end up here but as I choose to look at it, it’s merely a stepping stone out of unemployment.

Friday’s are always my jam because it’s either:

A. A Good time to meet up with the crew and unwind

B. An opportunity to work on SP

80% of the time I end up choosing B and tonight was one of those nights. I love doing this because it’s a passion of mind that never feels like a “to-do” or “work,” it’s just a good ole time.  Perhaps it’s the satisfaction of having something to call my own or the fact that people feel it worldwide, I don’t know. It just feels quite right to me. As a 26 year old single dude, a lot of peeps in my shoes would be out raging and looking for something to take home, but that’s never been me. Don’t get me wrong, I like to go out and have a good time but for the most part, I’m a chill dude determined to get out of the 9 to 5 grind. Give me some good food, dope jams, a jolt of coffee, a couple brew ski’s and I’m content staying in and building my castle, as they say.

So to the dreamers, thinkers and doers out there, keep on keeping on. Have a good night! Enjoy some pics:

Everything always tastes a little better with some Blue Ribbon on the side. Even coffee!
I’m totally getting the same feeling. Little by little will we be able to etch a little somethin’ somethin’ for our selves in this suprisingly small world of ours.

    Keep it comin’!
